When one of your best players leaves the team, you have to send them off with a proper blast. Dev1ce decided to leave the team back in April of 2021, and we got told that we had less than 48 hours to create a campaign to commemorate his successful career.
The name of the campaign ended up being “Dear dev1ce,” and it was one big “love letter” to him from Astralis and all the fans. The fans also had the option to support this by sharing their favorite dev1ce moment by using #deardev1ce. This ended up being one of the few farewell videos in esports that have paid proper goodbye to a player, you can see this by the support it got.
